Shopping in San Sebastian
If, while you’re studying, you feel like buying something typical from San Sebastian, wandering round the shops will probably prompt you to indulge in one of the local Basque products such as cotton shirts and berets. If you're looking for a boina (beret) or any other form of headgear, consider visiting one of San Sebastián's oldest hat manufacturer, Ponsol, Calle Narrica 4 (tel. 94-342-08-76). For virtually anything else in the city, try the length of the most congested shopping district, Parte Vieja, where dozens of merchants hawk everything from T-shirts to cameras to film. Apart from this go and visit the Paseo de Muelle, which is one of the best shopping areas where you will be able to buy almost anything.

Parque de Aiete
Locals in San Sebastian recommend this lovely park that includes colorful gardens, gorgeous waterfalls, and a tranquil pond with ducks. There is also a palace tucked away inside the park's borders.
Monte Urgull
Description: This large park surrounds a castle called Castillo de la Mota. Thanks to its location on top of a small mountain, this park offers spectacular views of the city and the water. This is also the location of the famous statue of Jesus that overlooks the city, and there is an old cemetery to explore as well.
Parque de Alderdi-Eder
This small park looks out over Playa de la Concha. Right down the street from the Town Hall and carousel, this is a romantic place for a stroll in the evening when the lights are blazing. There are wrought-iron planters showcase trees and flowers throughout the park.
